Threadworms, potty training and a nursery inset day this week. This is me trying to exercise:
I’M FINE.
Here’s some lovely bits to make us all feel better. The sun is coming back soon.
For your summer wardrobe
The most incredible shade of green. How to re-boot last year's linen trousers, £120
A teensy cross body for putting your phone, keys and cards in at soft play, £55
Suddenly skirts feel right again. Just add a black T-shirt, £55
For your summer beauty kit
For your summer parenting kit
By far the most painless way to apply suncream to kids, £7.98
I've lost too many Liewood sets to the sandpit. Go cheap and cheerful, £11.99
A couple of brands to have on your radar…
My designer friend Elizabeth has just launched Palome – a new label inspired by her hometown of Paris that uses leftover fabrics from luxury fashion houses. Pieces are super chic, real-life wearable and won't bankrupt you (think £70 for grade A cashmere crew-necks. Yes!). The small batch model means pieces sell fast so it's worth signing up to be notified of new drops. These jeans, this cardi and this silk dress are on my wish list.
Maternity wear label Seraphïne has just relaunch with a new and improved look. The jeans and swimwear are well worth browsing if you've currently got a bump.
That’s all for now. You’re doing great, Frankie x

Fifteen or so goggle-clad kids lined the sides looking on, knees pulled up to their chins so as not to dunk a toe in the contaminated water. Fortunately the smell of chlorine was so strong I couldn't detect the scent of sic…
Everyone I know is leaving the city to raise their kids
Sat in traffic on the M4 driving home from the New Forest last week, I turned to my husband and asked: ‘should we move to the countryside?’. This has been an annual tradition since my son was born; we pack up a hire car, decamp somewhere bucolic for a week, then spend the days following our return in turmoil over whether the city is really the best plac…
Thank you so much for sharing! Such a great dress. And huge congratulations - I hope you're doing ok. I remember how tricky postpartum dressing is in the summer. Wide linen trousers with an elastic waist were my go-to. Be kind to yourself - 14 weeks is nothing, you and your body have been through lots and you will feel like you again in time. Xx
That green shirt reminds me of Gwyneth Paltrow as Estelle in Great Expectation, my forever style icon!
